I kept thinking about this and how I could work a blog post all around it. And I realized I only had one thing to say:

I feel sorry for people who have to have everything explained and tied up in a neat little scientific package. I think of them as people who feel satisfaction only in completion. That's pretty short-lived. For me, the main joy of life is in the mysterious and the process. Often discovery and completion leaves me cold; day after Christmas, you know. But then, there's always another mystery, another process...

Fortunately it's a big ole world and there's plenty of room for both of us.
