news!

QUENCHER is now available on Kindle. I've been asked about this a lot, so this is a Good Thing.

Also, I just signed the contract for QUENCHED, which sold to the same press, Whiskey Creek. More vampires, with violence this time.  Here's the back cover copy:

Quench is a discreet place to fulfill your fantasies, no matter how wild, and it's exactly what Detective Ethan Harper and his girlfriend Savannah need to rev up their sex life. In the midst of a serial murder investigation, they seek some unconventional relaxation at Quench, a sizzling threesome with the striking, enigmatic Rafe. But over the course of the examining new scenes and interviewing witnesses, Ethan realizes all the leads point right back to Quench and Rafe. Rumors involving vampires surface. When Rafe comes after Savannah and proves his true nature, Ethan realizes the case has gone well beyond the powers of the police department to solve. Vampires are very real, and only one thing can stop them: another vampire.

Electric Spec has a new issue just out, six stories and an interview with Bernita Harris!  Isn't the cover gorgeous this time?  In the coming days I'm going to be on a mini-blog tour promoting the zine.

Finally, next week I start teaching a writing class at Front Range Community College. It's on critiquing and hopefully will help writers find their tribe.
