I have no idea now why I chose that topic at the ripe old age of 11, but I did. The teacher loved my paper so much that she said in front of the class that it was the best paper she'd ever read.

That's why I was so popular in school, of course.Price of Silencehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01202077249069002569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8357124.post-1108960153660350552005-02-20T21:29:00.000-07:002005-02-20T21:29:00.000-07:00Two shots a day!? I remember when I used to ride a bike all the time, the best hubs (and some other parts) were made by a guy who started out making parts for his chair. I couldn't afford his parts for my bike, lol, thanks for reminding me.ManNMotionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06591558781977040325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8357124.post-1108785008519372192005-02-18T20:50:00.000-07:002005-02-18T20:50:00.000-07:00Women just need more men like you...Women just need more men like you...thtgrlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06904314718822321078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8357124.post-1108688492451259242005-02-17T18:01:00.001-07:002005-02-17T18:01:00.001-07:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.thtgrlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06904314718822321078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8357124.post-1108688473537208622005-02-17T18:01:00.000-07:002005-02-17T18:01:00.000-07:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.thtgrlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06904314718822321078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8357124.post-1108688421877262982005-02-17T18:00:00.000-07:002005-02-17T18:00:00.000-07:00Thanks, sorry to make this a serious post, I was l...Thanks, sorry to make this a serious post, I was leaving funky mood comments all over the place yesterday and today! I'm such a girl sometimes!

Anyway, Sunrise has the BEST Customer Service. We have a Dynavox through them, stander through Jenx, chair through Convaid, walker through Kaye, orthotics through Cascade, and a bunch of Rifton stuff...complex life this is indeed! That's why I work for a children's hospital. His doctors/therapists/surgeons (except the ball doctor) are all there and the insurance is good. Damn Obnoxious Ex o'mine ran off with some whore because he's not man enough to help me with this!

OK, therapy session over. I need to get laid...quick. Somebody change the subject!!!

Lunatic, unless you're getting a blow job at Disney, it's time you say something to liven these comments up! Greg, you're wiser than I ever was at 19...Hi guys.

Greg, you're wiser than I ever was at 19. And yeah, most of my other posts are just entertainment. I am a fiction writer after all, I've got to be able to entertain. My blog isn't a self-discovery vehicle like so many are; I actually work out all my bullshit through my fiction, and it's so veiled that no one ever sees it but me and usually not for years after. Thanks though. Warm and squishy doesn't begin to describe it.

TG - I'm glad you shared about your son. I'd never figured that about him from your blog (actually he reminds me of my son in the stubborn, sassy department); which may be intentional or just 'cause I started reading you later.

From the equipment and condition it sounds like CP, maybe? No matter. I like his spunk - it'll take him far. I always say the spunky ones (which mine are too) are a bitch to parent but they'll make excellent adults someday.

I hope you're in a district with lots of good help for him. I've found that every kid has wonderful potential and it just takes that right combination of perserverence and teaching and parenting to bring it out. I can't begin to understand what it is to take care of a kid like that, but I imagine the frustrations are insane and the joys even sweeter.

Looks like I edited out the part about kids' chairs, which, when I was there, were top-notch through Quickie. I hope the company is still turning out as good a product as it had been when it was just bought by Sunrise. Don't know if your products are through Sunrise, but if you ever need help maybe after seven years I might know someone who knows someone who works there. I was in Customer Service, where all the shit got done.

Ok, I didn't exactly cry this am when I read your comments, but PHF was like, "What with you?"

However, an admonition: you were supposed to read like one post a day, not all of them in one go. Now you're stuck without me until Monday.

Somehow I think you'll survive.ssashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15527483283426518167noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8357124.post-1108646599058224822005-02-17T06:23:00.000-07:002005-02-17T06:23:00.000-07:00Just goes to show that you never know how you're g...Just goes to show that you never know how you're going to affect someone with what you post.

My Cool Kid has braces, a chair, a walker, can't write, can't feed himself, dress himself, or go to the restroom himself and can't speak clear enough for many people to understand him but me. I'm his translator and I fear him going to middle school like nothing in this world. Don't get me wrong, he's a smart ass kid in that little body he's trapped in. He can read and tell be he hates me sometimes and everything. This post deemed an appropriate place to share this. And we wonder why I can't get a babtsitter or a date.

I'm glad you get it now and hope that everyone does when they grow up. Of course I just cried reading that which is generally not what I read your blog for, but then I've been funky moody lately. I love blogland, I tell everyone fuckin' everything.thtgrlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06904314718822321078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8357124.post-1108624149777029792005-02-17T00:09:00.000-07:002005-02-17T00:09:00.000-07:00"The English teacher who recognized that I could r..."The English teacher who recognized that I could read and write as well as or better than her at age 12, and did absolutely nothing about it."

That's such a tragedy, I could only imagine what kind of ambitious stuff Little You cranked out. I know about that bitter bitch all too well, as well. As a matter of fact I had to wait till senior year in High School before any English teacher singled me out. Finally I realized my potential, but it was kind of a late start.

Sex you're so damn good at this intelligent, sincere, bare-boned approach to writing that it makes the majority of your other posts seem like you were simply skimming the surface - entertaining across the board nonetheless. Your first couple of paragraphs had me taken aback, this is the first time you've come off so contemplative. Perhaps you should humble us with your wisdom more often, I know you have plenty of it, cuz you just don't give a shit.

Don't worry sex, I think you're very smart and a very good writer for a 12 year old.Greghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00404654191910611389noreply@blogger.com
