hey

This one story had been an experiment for me, writing in present tense. There's been quite the debate online about past v present. I kept trying to write it in past, but I kept slipping into present when drafting. V odd.  But I kept thinking about it and decided to switch it to past.

Pain. In. The. Ass.

But worth it. It sold last night.

In other news, I'm waiting on the cover for QUENCHED.  6 weeks to launch. For those of you who read QUENCHER, this one's a bit different. We have vampires behaving a lot more like vampires, and one of them even goes all serial killer on your ass.  It's more horror than sex, this one.

Other than that, yeah. What's on with y'all?

Thanks. It's been a bit of dry spell. No shorts or books out since last January...

Yay!!! I find, in general, that if I write a story in one POV or tense, and then later switch it to another, I have a stronger story than if I just picked one and went with it. But that's too time consuming to make a habit of it, LOL!

Interesting. I can't imagine doing it all the time.

I splurt the odd thing out in present tense. It's always a surprise, but it seems to work when it wants to.
