Just got word that my story "Balesat's Silence" will be appearing in the third issue of Staffs and Starships. The story's about a bitter mystic trying to reconcile his violent tendancies with a king who wants him to guide the realm to peace. I see S&S's name around a lot, and though I think they've been through some financial difficulties, they seem to be making a strong comeback.
I can't wait to read the issue. Go Small Press!
