cuz why i’m lucky

1. cuz I can go a month without talking to Greg and we just switch back on where we left off
2. cuz my critique group can make me laugh while ripping my book to shreds
3. cuz my brothers send me dorky, funny stuff and we email each other and the ‘rents don’t even know
4. cuz I IM my husband, even though he’s just downstairs, and he gets that it’s part of the “relationship”
5. cuz I get to go to see a concert (Dropkick Murphys) with my friend BB and his wife and my husband are cool with it
6. cuz my friends inform me we’re going out after an all girls baby shower this Saturday night
7. cuz my son likes the same books I do
8. cuz I can draw again (hand’s working, and all that)
9. cuz somehow I ended up editing a magazine
10. cuz I’m going snowboarding this Friday, and you’re not *

Ok, not so much the “you’re not” part, but it was in the Rhythm. Can’t help it. Never deny the Rhythm.

Amazing, totally awesome. I am just getting into writing articles myself, nothing remotely close to your writing potential (ha!) but I'd love for you to take my stuff someday!
